The world`s oldest paddle steamer fleet dates back to 1836. The steamers
carry you along the Elbe river, e.g. to Rathen in Saxon Switzerland. Tickets and further
information are available at the ticket office on the Terrassenufer in the Altstadt-District.
A special event is the steamer parade on the first of May when eight historical steamers take you to Pillnitz castle and back. While aboard you can enjoy dixieland music.
