Nobody does Christmas better than the Germans! The biggest and oldest Christmas fair in Germany, Striezelmarkt, is more than enough evidence of this. Stroll around the various booths with regional handmade products and just absorb the atmosphere. Try "Stollen", a traditional Christmas cake made with raisins and wash it down with "Glühwein", a warm spiced wine drink. Very busy on the weekends.
